Pretty sure it is Brahmaea wallichi named after the Dane Nathaniel Wallich. In the Alishan area (close to you) it is known as the Alishan Holy Moth as it is often associated with temples and churches. Some good books on moths at http://booksfromtaiwan.com/ !
